Guest guest
hi laura! it was such a pleasure to hear from william. pretty cool, indeed he writes beautifully. (i'm a writer/editor for a living - and let me tell you, that is sheer talent. there are a lot of professional writers out there who don't write half as well. lol!) he's an impressive boy and so are you, gram! the bureaucracies of this world - schools, health insurance, hospitals - are horrifying. i'm not ashamed to admit i'm 35 and i run to mommy for help with it all. it is just too much. horrible. truly a horror. i sympathize with william re. the MRI. boy do i! i went into the rad lab for radiation treatment for my thyroid when i was a teenager. they put me in a paper shift and marched me into this lead box, with you know, like the 100-ft thick walls. then some person in a space suit stuck out a little paper cup on a long, long, long stick and gestured for me to drink this. i think they're lucky i didn't try to battle my way out. *no big deal* yeah, right! then how come i'm in a lead room facing down a man (or woman? who knew) in a lead suit holding that *innocent* little paper cup with a pole? gads! and me only in paper! oh yeah, and then they told me not to sit next to pregnant women for six months or something. makes me laugh now. but honestly. that was not funny and no simple little cup. i did a search myself on MRI and blood glucose. are they going to do another MRI for william? check out his pancreas? william isn't on any diabetes-type medications right? it occured to me, his b.g. numbers don't necessarily seem to skyrocket. i was wondering if maybe he could have a different sort of hyper/hypo-glycemia situation, where sometimes his pancreas puts out too much insulin. wouldn't want to wish that on him, but it might be a good thing - with a good rad lab. ok. well, william probably doesn't like the ladies fussing over him, but he's a darlin! you guys have a good day too. rach > Rach > Thank you for talking to william.
