Guest guest
Hi Judith, I have only had Type 1 for almost 2 years. I got it much later in life, I was 29. I can only imagine how hard you must have found it as a kid. I hear what your saying about all the testing. It is really a drag but I am used to it now. I know there are many aspects of your diabetes that I can't relate to but I would like to offer you my friendship and support. My cousin has had type 1 for 16 years and suffers from many complications. She also gets very despressed to the point of not wanting to take care of herself and it is very hard for all of us to watch. We all love her and want her to understand how important she is to all of us. Your family must feel the same about you. Have you talked with your doctors about your depression? It sounds like you really need to sort out some of the emotional stuff in order for you to get to a grip on how to deal with the phyiscal problems. I wish you all the best,
