& all, I just found out from my internist that my bone-head Dr.

(another one) has been over medicating me. My TSH has been real low for

some time and I've had hyper symptoms, but the bone-head (sorry - really

mad) blew it off and told me I was hypo-manic (in other words almost

bi-polar) just cause I hurt his pride by going to other Drs. when he went

out of town right after raising my thyroid meds (when they were already too

high) and told them I was having a thyroid storm cause I was. Or at least

heading for one. My BP was going up and everything. This bone-head never

even admitted that he overmedicated me. But he is going to hear about it

tomorrow. I need him cause he is a good back cracker (osteopath) but he

definitely doesn't understand thyroid or endocrine problems and is too

egoed. I know him through church, too. Which makes me all the madder. He

is an insecure little boy. But you don't label people with mental disorders

when you've been over dosing them yourself - the bone head. He acts like

such a know it all and he doesn't even know what he is doing. . Sorry -

just blowing off - but I'm sure this hasn't helped the insomnia much. The

bone head. I'm trying to calm down before I see him tomorow : ) Jeanie

One more thought. If you take calming minerals like magnesium or

calcium, you might want to take a dose at bedtime. There is some

validity to drinking warm milk at bedtime. The calcium had a calming

effect. I think B1 has this effect too.

Finally, don't take any energizing supplements in the evening. For

me this includes L-glutamine, acetyl L-carnitine, CoQ-10, B-Complex.
