Guest guest
Why does your blood sugar go up when you're sick? That's they thing that lets me know if I have a cold or other virus, or if it's allergies. Lately I've been having a time with bronchitis/coughing/tightness in the chest. My doctor perescribed Tequin, which he said may raise my bgl a little, but will get rid of the lingering/returning cause. And why would that work, I thought antibiotics were only for bacterial illnesses. Maybe it's the fever, ;o) but this is not making sense to me. And when should my bgls come back down, as soon as I get rid of this, or will it take a couple of weeks? Help? Thanks.
