Guest guest
hi, i am currently being treated for systemic candida. my main symptoms were multiple food intolerances/allergies with breathing/sinus pressure reactions. i also had a few episodes of brain fog. also, reduced libido and now my period has stopped for the last three months (after i went on the specific carbohydrate diet and lost ~20lbs in a few months time). also, in '86 i was diagnosed with crohns disease. my holistic md has treated me with diflucan, amphotericin, vancocin and cipro. then did a cupramine challenge test and found i had mercury and arsenic poisoning. last weekend he had me take 2 pills of cupramine every 6 hours for 2 days. then, 4 days later i was supposed to go on IV but i don't know what he planned to administer. i got scared when i started to do a bit of research the night before; hearing of all the dmps backfires. i cancelled my appt. i tried to find out what he had planned to give me in the IV but he refused to talk to me on the phone and his assistant said i had to come in to discuss it. i have an appt this tuesday. in the meantime, my stomach is now really bad. i had been doing great for a couple of months with regular, normal bowel movements 2-3x day with no pain or gas, etc. since friday night i have had gas and pain and a feeling of constipation. i have still been going but my bowel movements are not normal, they are a little strange. my stomach is upset and this morning i feel like my kidneys might ache, but i'm not sure. at this point i have a lot of anxiety and can't tell if it's the anxiety or real symptoms. i had a lot of trouble sleeping and feel like my ability to breathe in deep has changed. i did a lot of research last night, reading andy's protocol and dr mercola's/dr klinghardt's. i currently have 5 mercury fillings. based on what i read, i'm afraid that the cupramine has released mercury into my system now, and that since i didn't take any chelating agent to carry it out, it is now causing problems in my gut and possibly my kidneys. am i jumping to conclusions too soon? is there anything i can do now to help excrete the heavy metal that was mobilized by the cupramine? i was thinking of going to a sauna---will that help? i welcome all advice from those who have been through it or are going through chelation now. my doctor's protocol is to have me take cupramine for 2 days, then give me IV (not sure if he uses dmps, dmsa or edta), then a week off, then repeat. he estimated 20 sessions of IV treatment. he suggested i look into amalgam removal. when i asked, he said they didn't need to be removed before chelating; that the chelating agent only affected mercury in the tissues, not in the teeth. specific questions i have: since i already started moving heavy metals, would it be dangerous to immediately start getting amalgams removed, or should i take dmps one time to help move the metals already mobilized out of my system? if yes, should i do the IV as my doctor wants, or take it orally? thanks so much! julie _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
