5-HTP or Tryptophan

I understand that some of us may not properly convert 5-HTP to

L-tryptophan. Just from memory (best to do a search on this), vitamin B6

is necessary for this conversion. And for some of us, B6 is not

bioavailable, so consider the co-enzymated(?) form of B6, known as P5P.

Perhaps it would be better to take L-tryptophan itself. It is available

without a prescription, in pharmaceutical quality (USP and no fillers or

flow agents), from BIOS Biochemicals at: http://www.biochemicals.com/

A doctor I no longer see put me in touch with this source.

I find some of the information on their website, including

questionnaires to indicate certain metabolic and other abnormalities,

quite interesting.
