My BG numbers are 'bouncing' all over. Is it the goal to keep them pretty close to the same number all the time? Last night before bed BG was 119 and this morning before breaskfast it is 131. I haven't eaten. I don't know why it went up. And after eating it still goes to 150 or up. I'm new to trying to control this and eat right. It's just very confusing. Have a great day, Joan Hi Joan, is that 2 hours after eating? A " normal " rise for 2 hours after eating, is about 40 points. If you ever forget to wash your hands after eating or putting on lotion, watch out! Might scare you have to death! A rise in morning BG's can be because your body thought it needed energy and " dumped " you some. ;-) Don't worry, you are doing fine!
