diabetes meant " too much sugar in my blood " , or so I thought. I no concept of

carbs being culprits, as well as what my body needed some of each day. I

immediately quit dringing all soday, even diet ones. I was afraid to open my

for food, I easily lost weight, LOL As I regained self assurance, I regained

weight! Not all though, thank God. I went to the book store, I went to the

diabetes society, I found a new doctor. I found a new purpose. I wanted to

get the news out there to other diabetics, we are going to learn new things, we

are going to survive. I can support them in their times of fear. I can pray

for them to have peace with this new change. We will rise above this, with
