Guest guest
Hi, I'm home. It was NOT fun. But, I managed to get through it. They didn't give me enough local or sedative. I was totally awake, aware and not numbed at all. I told them it hurt and that I needed more but they said that I needed to be awake because of the area they were injecting. Aftr I got into recovery, they came in and said that if I need to come back again, they'd increase the amounts of meds. Now, it's going to take up to 72 hours to get the full benefit effects. Time to go rest. Hope all are having a breathe easy day, Nan 49, MASS listed started in '82 PF added in '08 > > Hi All, > I'm leaving in a few minutes for that epidural injection on my neck. I'm a bit nervous and ask that everyone keep me in their thoughts. I trust my doctor. But, with any procedure that requires being sedated, there's a risk. I'll feel better after it's done. This is my first injection of this type. > I'll update when I get home and feel up to it. > Nan 49, MASS > listed started in '82 > PF added in '08 >
