Hi Joe, we discussed stevia yesterday and the general consensus was it left

an unplkeasant aftertaste. Polling the room and the dieticians that were

there, splenda came in will all positive remarks. It is also my " sweetener of

choice " .

About carbs, I use a lot of carbs in my diet, mixed with fats and protein,

they manage to maintain a low enough value to keep my A1c at 6. So I guess in

the end, it is important for each of us to test regularly and eat what our

bodies tolerate. I think it is good for people to vary their diets as much as
