Guest guest
Toma, Thank you for all your hard work! My partner has been cutting and pasting the recipes so I could print them into a binder. She has commented that several recipes sound delicious!!! So, I guess, thanks to your hard work, we will be eating " good " GFCF food. I had been lazy in the past two years because I kept finding yucky recipes. My daughter would refuse to eat. Now, maybe she will :-) Peace,

Guest guest
Hey Heidi! Do you have any recipes for Pumpkin pie? Perferably nut, dairy and soy free? I have been searching and haven't found one yet. Thanks!!! Alyssa recipes Hi, everyone,Thanksgiving approacheth, and I am offering my services to any and all - ha ha. No seriously, my son has a lot of allergies, and I love to cook (always have), so I have a LOT of allergen-free recipes that are tried and true. If you are looking for something specific, post, along with your sweetie's allergies and I'll see if I can help. I actually can make a successful gluten free pie crust!I like this group a lot - nice and small, active, and not so crabby/whiny as some of the other food allergy groups (I'm not trying to be negative, I just like the upbeat scene better! Our kids could have SO much worse - I'm grateful it's just food allergies). Good job!Love,Heidi, mom toCal, 5, stomach of steel, and Jake, 3, celiac, allergic to corn, dairy, pollen, dust mitesand wife to Jeff, super dad and hubbyliving healthy and happy in Massachusetts

Guest guest
Thanks Alyssa! I'll check out that site. I actually used the Vanilla Silk Frosting recipe for my daughters baptism cake and her 1st birthday and it was WONDERFUL! No one could tell it was dairy free! I have found a couple pancake recipes that have called for eggs and I've tried a few different substititions for the egg (applesauce and banana's) but they are just so heavy! Any suggestions (from anyone!) would be greatly appreciated...especially by Josie since she'll be eating them at daycare! Missy This was taken from www.foodallergy.org There are some great recipes here. , there is even a cake recipe and frosting that doesn't call for milk or eggs! I will do somemore search for some more recipes. I know that I have a pancake recipe here somewhere. Not sure if it calls for eggs though. It is chocolate pancakes with strawberry syrup. Guest guest
I am new to the list and to diabetes. I do find I have a problem with the number of recipes posted. It causes generation of too many post making it impossible to follow or gain any educational value from the list. I think if I wanted to get recipes I would join a list for recipes. Just my thought! billijo
