Guest guest
well, after all the discussion, i'm trying to search my notes. because i just had the thought, remembering possibly reading something about alloting carbs per day or by meal. the only thing i've found so far is something saying that non- insulin folks should focus on eating consistent amounts at each meal (eaten at regular times), while insulin dependent folks need to focus on calculating the right amount of insulin when they eat, however they divide up their daily allotment. BUT i seem to recall that view for insulin-dependent diabetics was also considered antiquated. that for both routine helps stablize the numbers and that eating over certain personalized amounts at any one sitting, just makes it very hard for the body to process adequately - meds/exercise or not. has anyone ever heard anything like this specifically? rach
