I dont have this trouble, but I would suggest things like sugar free yogurt

(yoplait, dannon and blue bunny make some great ones), akins bars, glucerna

(like ensure, which is like a shake, for diabetics), eggs, bacon, low carb

cereal, plain oatmeal with cinamon, Im sure there is more but that is all I can

think of.. OH I dont eat it much but is cottage cheese easy on the blood sugar?

I can suggest three things:

1. Exercise more. Go run around the block a few times, take a long bike

ride--whatever.

2. Cut back on your carbs. For a day or so avoid bread, cereals, starchy

vegetables, and the like.

3. If you are on meds or insulin, take a higher dose. (Consult your health care

provider first, of course!)

What do you do or

eat??

I have a question about this one...

whenever I exercise my BG goes WAY up over 350. I don't understand.

any understanding of that... or others experience this?

Are you sure you haven't eaten too much food prior to exercising?

Carbs last a LONG time. Exercise consumes glucose. Check glucose

before/during/after..

both at fasting, 2 hrs after eating I will increase BG by 50-100

after exercising. I was told today not to exercise if I'm over 250.

The exercises causes stress so the body works harder or someting like

that. Of course, this is while trying to get numbers down. She said

it should change once it's under control.
