I went to my 1 week checkup for the Optifast program and I lost 9lbs in 1

week! I know it's not much but, I'm pretty proud of myself. I haven't really

lost weight in a while so the scale actually going the other way is kinda

thrilling to me. LOL Kinda silly ain't it? I will talk to ya soon.

Well, thank goodness I don't have a husband and can control the cooking in my

house....my son may not like it, but he is going to be eating the same things I

eat...no fried chicken, no pizza, no nachos....we both need to lose weight, me

265 him 40, but he is only 10 and I don't want him to go to the extent I have

with weight issues.....he is still trainable.

Hi bedbug,

I remember you from past posts. Unfortunately when yahoo made the

transition from clubs to groups, all the early posts went poof. How

are things for you now?

Hi

Hi

My name is Becky. I am 23 and am hoping to soon start my treatment leading to

orthagnathic surgery. I am a member of one of the other orthognathic surgery

yahoo groups but decided to join this one as well.

I am scheduled to have upper and lower surgery although the consultant

orthodontist and surgeon have not yet decided whether this will be done in the

one operation. I am hoping that it will be.

I'd really like to hear from anyone on the list (especially those based in the

UK) as I have only come across one other person.

With best wishes to everyone

Becky

Hi , thanks for understanding. ;-) Bruce is an unhappy soul who

someone or something (maybe even the diabetes itself?) has frightened and he

literally wants to fight back! I think most of us understand his plight, and

possibly many others besides myself have added him to their prayer lists.

Thanks

for seeing the recipes for what they were. ;-) Hugs, Marilyn
