Dori, I am not insulin dependant at this time, thank goodness.

My husband is a research and development engineer.

His boss is insulin dependant, which led his company to

research and presently are working on insulin delivery pumps

and other ways of introducing insulin to the body.

I pray I will never be in a situation to need them, but the

technology is amazing.

With so much of the population being obese and the

dramaticly increasing numbers of people that are being

diagnosed with diabetes, the insurance companies are

going to have to respond to the needs of diabetics.
