Guest guest
Hi Tami, Nice to know you too! Yes, me too also learnt a lot from this group, especially articles about diabetics treatment and depression/stress related. I just finished my previous contract job. Economic suppose to be picking up in Singapore(according to goverment) but I still got problem looking for a new job as I'm already 36 yr old...I'm staying with my parent, my mum is also type II diabetics. Is your daughter a type II diabetics? It must be quite tough for you looking after her and working full time. God bless you and yr family, Bruce Re: [alldiabeticinternational] Re: not so new member ;-p Hello Bruce, I am kinda new too, about a month or so. I have learned a lot in just that month and the recipes are a God send, for my daughter. She is 10 and diabetic. I look forward to getting to know you as my friend. God Bless, Tammi
Guest guest
Hi Debi, Thank you for the welcome. I did notice there were fewer emails last two day, thinking most of them must be celebrating the 1st July Day. Well, it's great to have four season... but Singapore is summer thru out the year, and humid too. We do have raining season and hot weather, and as other country having summer, we also face hotter weather for this few months. I'm currently on Actrapid(8 + 8)unit and Insulartard(20 + 12)unit; Metformin 850 and Lipanthyl 160(for Cholesterol) twice each day; 25mg Cozaar each morning(to protect my kidney) Regards, Bruce From: debi_oliver_2004 To: alldiabeticinternational Sent: Thursday, July 01, 2004 9:35 AM Subject: [alldiabeticinternational] Re: not so new member ;-p Hi Bruce and welcome to the group. It is the 4th of July celebration week and many are not near their computers. I have plans to visit a near by lake for the weekend. There will be lots of fireworks and family and friends getting together. I hope my stomach is able to handle all the foods that will be there. I usually can not eat very much because of my pancreatitis but it is calm for now. I am not able to handle any alcohol ever again. Knock on wood things stay calm. If things are quite during then just please speak up and I am sure someone will answer, this is a great group. I would love to visit Singapore. Is the weather nice there and what type of insulin are you on? Debi~~*~~
