......Talk about weird---I can eat 2 cups of pasta with my evening meal with

Like whole grain breads.....as little as possible of processed grains-----I eat

fried rice (1/2 cup) if I have rice, but can only eat a small baked potato

(counts about 22 gr. carbs)...my insulin exchange is 4 units per carb count (15

gr.) One of the secrets is to elliminate fructose (in processed foods) which

reduces cell resistance...........ROLF

Hi Rolf, I do understand, because I can eat a baked potato and no rise. I

can't explain it, I just laugh it off saying " after all I am 1/3 Irish " . We are

all so lucky that we can test our bodies and develop a list of things that

should, but for some reason, don't affect us! I wish this would have been

available for my Grandma. She just about gave up cooking when everything she

loved

became :bad for her " . We now know that it is so untrue the things doctors

told her. Not with malice, just not understanding. I have been reading about

fructose lately, too. Hugs, Marilyn
