I think you must be referring to exchanges by 1 of this 2 of that. They told me yesterday that you can use exchanges if you wish, but they usually just use carbs as a baseline for eating. With all the information that is out there now, and labels being so useful, it is pretty easy to make up a diet plan that works. The recommendation was to just eat a variety, using plenty of vegetables, some fruit, some protein and some carb. Not to eliminate anything, just moderation. Guest guest
Clear DayGuess i should wait till i read the digest before answering huh lol. I usually don't write on chats so i must feel comfortable here. Thankyou. Yes Marilyn i do have the bean bag for heat or cold and i find it makes it worse. I used to lov taking showers long baths and such. Now i dread looking forward to them. They drain me out terribly. Anyway i've been listening to you all about carbs and such. Now i was never taught how to read carbs and fats to take. The diabetic diet i guess where you can have 1 of this n 2 of that. Do they still do that. I've started a journal this time and so far it seems to be helping in taking my sugar counts. In this journal i keep track of everything, bs,food i eat, activities, how long i sleep, bm, if i have gotten out or not. Everything and for someone who is trying to get under control i am finding out this is helping. It shows which foods up my sugars and what activity does what. I just made it up in Excel and it helps. So maybe doing that will help some people. Im sorry im such a jabber jaws tonight. Not like this usually quiet:). So i will call it quits for tonight. Take care all.
