Hi all,

Jamez here. Once again, seems that a " religious " post has sent members

into a frenzy. I'm not sure if it's because it was 'religious' or

'christian', but, either way, I need to reiterate a few points on this

subject. This board includes the 'whole person' in terms of dealing

with their diabetes. This includes the spiritual aspect of ones' being

for those who believe in whatever spiritual principle(s) they choose.

It does not mean that it is a platform for ANY particular spiritual

principle. Nor does it mean that anyone else has the right to

criticize those beliefs. If you have an issue with a post, there are

different options to pursue. Don't read the post. Delete the post.

Contact or . Contact me. Put a question up on the board

about the particular post you take issue with in a way that is not

demeaning or derogatory (referring to someones' spiritual beliefs as

" glurge " is not acceptable terminology). In fact, here is a perfect

example for all of you to ponder-does this particular response, mean

that, your 'own' spiritual beliefs or principles, whoever you are and

whatever you believe, are considered to be " glurge " , because someone

feels it doesn't belong on this board? How do you all feel about that

now? Simply put, there are better ways to phrase a question without

attacking another members beliefs with words I can't even find in the

dictionary.

There are times when information is given out that is questioned by

other members as to its' accurracy. People respond in many ways-some

freak; some are in total disbelief; some are confused; some run away;

some question the post in a healthy, non-judgemental manner. I would

hope that responses will be stated with the self-understanding that

the person whose post is being questioned, may be uninformed,

mis-informed or simply not know. All I ask is for courtesy to each

other. It is a very simple thing and will be much more effective in

achieving resolutions to issues. Please, a little respect for each other.

Peace, Grace and Blessings to all (no particular belief specified),

Jamez
