Guest guest
Hello Irene, My liver and kidneys were failing. My liver and kidneys were healthy before I became ill with FMS/CFS/TMJ/IBS and hypoglycemia. The medications that we are prescribes are all processed in the liver and kidneys. Eventually they will have an effect on them. Diet change, excercise, fresh air, sunshine, rest and lots and lots of water can save a person from a life threatening illness. I have a friend who had colon cancer 3 times. The first 2 times she went through radiation and chemotherapy(spelling). On the 2nd time the radiation literally blew off the bottom of her foot. When she was diagnosed with cancer a 3rd time with a larger tumor then the first 2 times she opted not to go through it again. A friend of hers in California told her about the book " Back to Eden " and told her to do all that it said to do in regards to having cancer. She did. That was 11 years ago and the cancer has never returned. And yes her diet change dissolved the tumor. Another friend of mine was diagnosed with Hep C. He was told he only had a few months to live and went home prepared to die. The friend who had had cancer told him also of the book. He did all the book had to say and he is still alive and doing well today. 15 years later. Can diet change, or better yet lifestyle change, help even those with life threatening illnesses. YES YES YES. And if it can help those then it can help us. I am living proof that it does make all the difference in the world!!! Peace and blessings, Mick PS when my liver and kidneys started acting up and they did all the necessary tests on me they had found a tumor. Now the tumor is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the changes I made in my life and I know it is those changes that saved my life:) I share them here in hopes that others will understand how critical it is that we take charge of our health. That we make the necessary changes to find optimum health. patidu@... wrote: Mick wrote, > . And I had only a few months to live when I started the changes. My mother ate a very healthy diet, she was in the medical field and knew what to eat, and what not to. She never ate processed foods, always make food from scratch. She got cancer 5 times before it finally killed her. Please remember, that scientist already know that illnesses that are considered to be terminal, can for no apparent reason, suddenly disappear. There are numbers of case of people who were suppose to die, loose a limb or organ, loose some ability and didn't. Some times spontaneous remission can occur. If this coincides with a diet change, you credit the diet. On the reverse side, people don't say the opposite is true. There was a local woman who contracted cancer. She tried everything including all fruit and juice diet, enemas, etc. in a desperate attempt not to leave her two young children without a mother, and her husband without a wife. It didn't work for her. Nobody blamed her diet for failing her. Yes, a healthy diet is wonderful, and can help sometimes with some illnesses, but it is not a miracle cure all. I wish it were, my mother would be alive today. Darcy
Guest guest
What the heck did they have you on? Are you stating that you think the meds you were taking caused you to have a tumor in your kidneys? To the best of my knowledge, you don't get meds for TMJ, for IBS you might get lactoluse or something comparable, and hypoglycemia is a sugar deficiency. So, that would lead me to believe that you think it was meds they gave you for FMS/CFS. Just wondering.... Missy > My liver and kidneys were failing. Guest guest
Hello Darcy, I am so sorry that you lost your mother to cancer. That must of been, and I am sure still is, very hard on you. I believe diet change is critical for optimum health. I speak of it often here, in fact that is what I mainly speak about. It cannot hurt to make a diet change, it can only help. I share my testimony here because I think it would help all. I am getting the feeling that I have become offensive to people here. I never meant to cause others to get upset. I cannot make people make changes in their life. I know that while I was bedridden I wanted so desparately to be in some sort of support group, but I could barely make it to the bathroom let alone go online. Now I feel that I have something valuable to share with others here. But it doesn't seem to be well received. It breaks my heart when I think of the FMS/CFS sufferers across the world who endure each day as I did. I only wanted to share what helped me. It is hard for me to understand why others will not even try it. What is there to be lost by trying? I feel that it is time for me to go, I never meant ever to cause anyone harm or to cause others to become upset. As far as scientists go they are studying and have been studying the healing properties in foods. In fact, they try to copy natural chemicals in food but have been unable to do so. God created all that we need in the perfect state-raw veggies. Each time they are cooked they lose nutritional value. So by the time we buy frozen veggies (soaked in famaldhyde(spelling)) there is no nutritional value left. I would imagine if anyone of you here went from close to death to being able to run, fight off infection, and live life again--you would be here sharing it with others trying to help them with what helped you. That is all I have done. And I am sorry that I have offended others, never ever was it my intentions. I wish all of you the very best that life has to offer:) God bless you all....always and forever Mick Darcy Stockstill wrote: mickness36 wrote: > Can diet change, or better yet lifestyle change, help even those with life threatening illnesses. Your doctor's should have tested you at least every other month to see how your kidneys and liver were doing on your medications. I can not speak for others, but what is irritating to me is that you don't seem to be listening to us in return. Several of us have mentioned that we can not handle a raw fruit/veggie diet, and after trying exercise, we found it made us worst, not better. From my perspective, you don't seem to hear this, and insist that it would work for us if we only tried it. It gets frustrating when someone comes along with something that has greatly helped them, and insists it's the one true way, we need to do it without listening to us and hearing what we're saying. I don't think you need to leave. I wish you would hear what I and others have said, and accept our points of view too. I also think that anyone who is going to try a specialized diet, needs to either talk to their doctor or a nutritionist to make sure they are getting everything they need, like some of the B vitamins and amino acids necessary for good health. This is my personal view and not any kind of official view. Thanks Darcy
