Guest guest Posted July 18, 2004 Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 Hi there, I've been wondering what numbers the MD would consider stable enough with the med selection and how long the meds will take to work effectively. I've been in the 300-400s and don't see my MD until Aug. 3. I see the diabetes nurse on Wednesday. I've been increasing my meds on my own according to safe levels, as I really don't want to wait weeks before increase in meds, taking longer for getting in a healthier range. There has been some improvement into the high 200s to 300s. i'm just trying to figure out what to expect and wonder if others have experienced an approx acceptable level, or if every MD and every patient is different. thanks Mara Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
