Guest guest
I'd suggest using some sort of low-carb pasta; there are good ones on the market now. Or, do what I did and invest in a pasta machine and make your own low-carb pastas. [alldiabeticinternational] Garlic Chicken and Mushrooms I debated sending this because it is at about the top of the amount of carbs we can do. I will leave it up to your discretion. Hugs, Marilyn Garlic Chicken and Mushrooms Serves 4 2-1/4 cups uncooked mafalde (mini-lasagne noodles) pasta (4-1/4 ozs) 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 8 cloves garlic, finely chopped 8 oz whole mushrooms, cut into fourths 1/2 cup sliced green onions (5 medium) 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1/2 cup chicken broth 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp cornstarch 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook garlic in oil, stirring occasionally, until golden. Stir in mushrooms and green onions. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Guest guest
diabetics have to monitor how many total carbs we intake at any time and have limits per meal and snack otherwise blood sugar can skyrocket out of control. A nutritional plan, exercise regimen and possibly medication help control our blood sugar. The nutritional plan we put together with our diabetic dieticians show what we can eat and in what amounts, when we need to eat, what we cannot or should not eat, etc...
