Diane thank you for your words of wisdom. The main concern should be

with good blood sugar levels. My daughter is healthy and not a

diabetic. She is wide open morning noon and night. I do not know

where she gets all this energy. I would advise all diabetic ladies

not to ever give up on having children.

closer. My insulin requirements more than doubled with the

pregnancy. They say that diabectics usually have large babies--mine

were 5lb 10 oz and 6 lb 10 oz. One of my daughters had to be in

intensive care for 2 days because she was having low blood sugars,

Both are very healthy adults now. Ages 24 and 20. Back then, most

doctors didn't think that diabetics could have children. I have

always hated being told that I couldn't do something!!! LOL!!
