They used to preserve allergy shots with a phenol-based preservative and

sometimes thimerasol (mercury-based) but that may have changed. You can ask the

doc to show you the package insert. Years ago, I was told that if you have to

keep it in the fridge there are not preservatives.

Consider NAET for the allergy testing. www.naet.com for practitioners in your

area. I've gone to practitioners in CA and in WA.

My NT son will be having tubes put into his ears this week along with
allergy testing done (pricks on his arm, etc). I talked with the
nurse briefly on the phone asking what kind of preservatives were
used the vials that they will be using for the testing. She
indicated it was just saline solution.
My computer has down at home so I have limited time on one right now -
anyone that may know what is contained in the vials that is used for
allergy testing I would appreciate it greatly.
Hi ,

One of my son's had the skin prick allergy testing done about 2 yrs.

ago. At the time I wasn't even aware of thimerasol.

But when I realized my son was poisoned by vaccines, I worried about

the allergy testing vials having thimerasol as well and asked the

DAN doctor. She said no, there is no thimerasol in there.

But if I were you, I would read the package inserts for every one of

the vials just to make sure.

That allergy testing, will most likely just register IGE scores. Turned out to

be one of the largest nightmare's of my NT daughter's life. With the exception

of pollen which I knew she was allergic too, they said she had no other

problems. Of course her bizarre reactions and meltdowns were all told to be

behaviorally rooted. Turned out she has serious other sensitivity issues, so

essentially that " negative " test was like poisoning her. She went nuts, tried

to bite the doctor's and all, to this day thinks of it as traumatic. And she

was a child that rarely would flinch at shots. I'd recommend either a blood IGG

test for an indication of possible hidden problems or now I'm recommending the

bioset test to find out about sensitivities. Bioset is similar to NAET. The

bioset test found everything all the other tests I had ran found, and then some.

FYI, just a thought, but often the need for tubes/issues are linked to hidden

sensitivity issues, especially dairy. Also structural restrictions which

cranial therapy can help with.

Good luck,

Kari
