Guest guest
, Its pretty normal for blood sugars to bounce up & down for a while after a decent 'hypo'. I sometime find that I can have a couple of hypos in succession - so don't 'chase' those high sugars too much. After an episode like this, give things some time to settle down again, then look at why the hypo occurred. Get stability back first - even if the levels are on the high side, then bring the levels back down. But it sure is a rollercoaster. After I have a hypo I usually tell my housemate that I will be on the rollercoaster for a while - and it gets the message across. Regards, . (T1) > Glad to hear that you dried out some. But man I do not think I am ready for the hot hot summer that I think we are going to have.... > > Well I guess I will ride my roller coaster again today. Woke up this morning at 1:00 with BS 40 got up and drank a half a glass of milk, and two peanut butter and crackers and when I got up at 5:15 it was 300. So go figure. I am just going to hang on and see how today goes. > > Well I guess I need to get to work and get some of this off my desk. You take care and I will be talking to you soon. > > Hugs > > Bartlett, TN
