Guest guest
I understand that. Some Type II diabetics have to take insulin; I intend to delay that as long as I can, and my doctor said that the way to do that is to minimize my carb intake. RE: [alldiabeticinternational] Carm (bruce) So that would make you a Type 2..... I have been wondering and figured that is what you were if you were trying to do no carbs at all or very, very very little carbs. Type 1 diabetes have to have and count carbs. For those of who have Type 1 we do not have the luxury to try and control ours with diet. We have to take insulin we do not have a choice. Guest guest
Just remember--creating an unbalanced diet can lead to other issues......virtually elliminating carbohydrates can lead, in the long term, to many memory and thought process problems (starvation of the brain).....
