Of course, if you prefer Equal, by all means use it. However, I prefer

Splenda for two reasons.

First, Equal to me has a chemical aftertaste, which Splenda does not.

Second, in cookery sugar frequently provides more than just sweetness;

it participates in the biochemistry. Splenda is chemically much closer

to sugar than Equal, and frequently will therefore work in cookery where

Equal will not.

Aspartame caused my husband to lose his memory. We

were both afraid he was going into Alzheimer's. It

got so bad he couldn't even remember the dog's name.

Once he stopped drinking diet Pepsi, the symptoms

totally cleared up.

Aspartame is VERY bad stuff at least for some people.

Splenda just doesn't do that.

Splenda is the best thing that every came out, I dont get headaches and my back

dont hurt. The only time i get sick now is when my pancreatitis acts up.
