Most states have legal aide, maybe you could find a lawyer to help you through that??
Guest guest
Hello.. Well, yet another attack from the devil and I need prayer please. I have been on the same Medicaid since April 2001. My income never increases. As a matter of fact, my income recently went down due to my soon to be ex not paying support. The state is trying to say that now, suddenly, I make too much for Medicaid. I make less than 900 a month with two kids. I talked to a friend of mine that works with Medicaid.. and she said there is NO reason why it should've changed. I've called the caseworker, the supervisor AND the client relationship people.. not one of them called me back today. I have NO insurance and I'm a diabetic. I need my meds refilled and I need to see the doctor. I'm very scared about what will happen to me without my meds.. pls pray that God will cause someone to fix this issue and I will have insurance again. Thank you much. Guest guest
Prayers are on their way Tina, it is so stupid that in this land of plenty that we have people that have to do with out because of lack of insurance and money, I know for myself if I didn't have insurance I would be in a mess, I don't know how much help this will be to you, but I got a mail a few days ago from a place called Rx Outreach, their number is 1-, they can send you a brochure on the medications that they can help you with... also I will do some digging and see what I can come up with for you on patient assistance programs, look in your phone book and find your nearest free clinic, you can get your scripts there for little to no cost, here in South Carolina, in Oconee County we have a clinic called the Clinic, and they have a script van that comes around 2x a week where people can get their meds.., and also your doctor can help you with samples...your local job service (unemployment office) will have information too on where to get help with your medications... and some of the local Churches will give you assistance on paying bills and helping with groceries..there's help out there it just takes some digging to find it... and please don't let pride stand in your way of getting help... Guest guest
Tina, I pray that God will find a person in the Medicaid department to be receptive and be able to fix this problem for you. In the meantime, keep insisting on talking to someone, God will provide the way. Take care!! Gloria Lysa " T. Hedtke " RenewedSpiritnmind@...> wrote: Hello..
