You really need to experiment and test to see what works for you. You can also check the glycemic values of various fruits to get some idea of expected relative differences. Because of the concentrated sugar content (and resultant BG rise), I rarely drink fruit juice (other than OJ occasionally for medicinal/hypo purposes) and don't eat too much fruit but have found that some of the safer ones, for me, are raspberries, blueberries, cantaloupe and honeydew. As a T1 I have to dose (insulin) anyway so if I occasionally crave some kind of fruit I may eat a small to moderate amount and adjust insulin dosage accordingly.
