i think the >>> is the best idea because Im never seeing your color on the

posts, a lot of times on loops the switching from an ISP (example aol) to the

group and back changes stuff.

Hello, lin.

It seems that you are sending posts with HTML format (that's why

Yahoo adds the " non-text portions... " notice.)

Perhaps if you send your messages in plain text format, this problem

will be solved.

I know what you mean; top-posting, and poor quoting in general, are my little

bugbears ;-) I cut my comms teeth back in the days of good old Fidonet, when

*everyone* knew how to quote properly and, what's more, so did the software that

they were using B-)

It seems that modern email clients don't know the first thing about netiquette;

at any rate, they seem not to know anything other than how to top-quote. Are you

listening, Micro$oft? ;-)
