Guest guest
Ok which brings me to a question. When I am in college this fall should I tell professors or not? Im afraid to tell them as I dont want to be thought of as different or as nuts as some college profs are, want to be thought of as wanting special treatment etc... But what if I fell over in class? Im getting a medic alert bracelet soon, and Im good about watching my sugars. You are taking the right step, get the bracelet, wear it, always! If you have a problem, it will be a Godsend. EMT's look for it right away. If you feel " wonky " in a class, test quietly, then if you are low, a little frosting from a tube kept in yiur pocket or purse will help you greatly. This dispenses with chewing, and helps normalize the sugar fast. If you fear passing out, tell someone next to you immediately!!! Many hugs and congrats on school!
