Guest guest
Mittens, You are more than welcome :-) Joe Reply-To: alldiabeticinternational Date: Thu, 08 Jul 2004 02:13:31 -0000 To: alldiabeticinternational Subject: [alldiabeticinternational] Re: One Month New Type 2 Diabetic Thanks Joe for the advice. I will probably discuss with the doctor if I can go back on one pill per day of the metformin and give it more time. I am proud to say my levels today without pills is 117, 114 and 107. Don't know how I did it! But I am bouncing but staying well under 200. Thanks again and I will have to consider it if this pill stuff doesn't work. You were the only one replying to my problem and I appreciate it. Mittens

Guest guest
Joe I will respond to you because it was my post to Marilyn that you referred to. I am so sorry that I have offended you in any way and it was not my intentions to do so. with that said I must say that I do not understand why what I wrote would offend a Jewish person like you or anyone else for that matter. I refereed to God by using " Lord " not Jesus Christ. I also did not say that my faith was the only right one. I am sorry that you are offended by Christian talk or references to God by Christians. My Faith is my life and without my faith I would not be here today. I am not trying to make Christians out of people on this group, I am just sharing my joy and feelings. Joe you have a right to your feelings and so does everyone else on this group and I understand that this is not an official Christian group and that this is not the place for witnessing or trying to make Christians out of everyone and this has not happened that I know of. So if you are saying that I or anyone else cannot refer to there god in the way that they know Him than I am sorry but I can and will not honor your wishes. If I have offended anyone than I am sorry and if It is the wishes of the people that run this group than I will leave. please just let me know. I love this group and it would really hurt to leave but I must put my Savior first. If saying God Bless you and other talk as such is wrong than I guess this is not the place for me. As I am Jewish, this offends me immensely. This group was nice, but I just can¹t take the Xian crap any more. Guest guest
Thanks . Thornton j459g@...> wrote: > My BG numbers are 'bouncing' all > over. " All over " is relative. Your BG will be stable at times (e.g. before a meal) and rising or falling rapidly at other times (e.g. during or after a meal). > Is it the goal to keep them pretty > close to the same number all the > time? No, I never heard of that as a goal. Your BG will go up and down, you cannot expect to have it remain the same all the time, nobody's does. > Last night before bed BG was 119 ... It went up because your liver released the last of the sugar it had stored from the day before. Try taking your morning reading while you are still in bed and you should get a more reproduceable reading. > And after eating it still goes to > 150 or up. I'm new to trying to > control this and eat right. Nothing wrong with that, either. It all depends on what you ate and how long after you took the reading. Try taking readings only before you eat and you will get a smaller range. > It's just very confusing. Well, Joan, you have only been diagnosed a month now. You can reckon with about six months before things stabilize and you see the light! If diabetes was so straightforward and everybody got the hang of it immediately then none of us would be here and there wouldn't be a Yahoo ADI group!
