There may even be a recipe or two in it for ham glaze. I haven't looked. Splenda holds it's sweetness in heat and baste the ham with it....Maybe make it thick. It also is supposed to cook more like sugar. I personally don't like sweet food, like yams or sweet and sour. I like my food solid but oh did I love the junk food.......LOL...thank goodness for cheesecake...Jean Oh if you order splenda it only takes 2 days to get it from the internet and if you want to order by mail let me know and I'll give you the info....splenda e-mailed me with the address...... Guest guest Posted October 17, 1999 Report Share Posted October 17, 1999 Try this for a glaze Take the juice for the ham when you take it out of packages. combine it with a half stick of butter, and about 1/2 cup splenda 12.5 carbs, In a sauce pan melt butter and sugar and juice till thinkend.
