Guest guest
Something besides the blood sugar is still too high (although I haven't understood what it is). The reading was 8.5 whereas it should be 7 max. I don't know exactly what I have to do to bring this figure down but I'll just carry on carrying on. What else is there to do? Joe Hi Joe, next time you go to the dr for blood work, ask for a copy of the lab results to be sent to you. I am not sure what the first thing you mentioned was, if it was your A1c, you are in good control. If it is the second, 8.5 is somewhat five and they are asking us to keep it at 6 or 6.5 here now. Hugs, and keep on walking, it is great for us! Marilyn

How much? I can go thru a quart in one day! Why limit yourself to something which is good for you? Joe >>>Hi Joe, if it doesn't get you in the bg's no reason to limit yourself. I have a few meds that say " do not use with grapefruit " , but I am not sure why. That much acid would be rough on the stomach lining I think. Guest guest
An article in the most recent SMITHSONIAN mentions a study of a group of pregnant and nursing women; half the group were asked to drink two glasses of carrot juice a day; the other half were told to avoid carrots. When the babies were ready for solid foods, the babies of the women in group one showed a marked preference for carrots. Re: [alldiabeticinternational] Joe When I was pregnant with my son I think i drank a gallon a day (not diabetic then) funny thing is as a baby he has always liked it lol! My son loves the things I craved the most when prego and I always thought it was a fluke.
