Hello Everybody,

First I would like to Welcome all the New Members to ADI. I am sorry

that I have not been on the board to welcome you in. We have been at

the hospital almost every waking moment. For the ones that do not

know---'s daughter, my step daughter, slipped into a coma late

thrusday night. We spent most of the time in the waiting room. In

Nero ICU, you can only go in 4 times a day for 45 minutes. When she

woke up, was in the room talking to her, she woke up during

one of the many times he said ' Daddy love you', and she said, very

softly,'I love you too!!!' That sure made very happy. There

was'nt a dry eye in the room. She is progessing fine now the doctors

say, she is having trouble remembering things.

I came home tonight. We have a 13 year old at home so I come home

with her and has been staying at the hospital. I will be going

back in the morning, when Sherry goes to school. As has to

take shots, I have to take them with me to the hospital. I am worried

about him also. He is so worried about Tammy that its getting to him,

and his nerves has been bad. She may be 21 years old but she is

still ' Daddy little girl' . Thank you so very much for the

concerning post and emails that you sent. I apprecitate it very much.

will post an update when he gets time to sit at the computer

for a while.

Again, I would like to Welcome all the New Members to All Diabetes

International ( ADI ). My name is Hammett and Hammett

is my husband. He has type 1 diabetes that has turned brittle.He has

been a diabetic for 10 years. He also has suffered with Chornic

Pancreatitis for the past 15 1/2 years. We have 3 daughters, aged

24,21, and 13 years of age. And a Persian kitty cat

named 'Booger'.And a Chow-Chow, who is 9 years old and blind she has

been with us since birth. She is a very gentle loving dog. Now enough

about me Please feel free to come aboard and brouse thru the files

and links and check out the photo section and feel free to add your

photos if you would like. We have put a poll up for the chat date and

time. We would like it to be on the date that you would like it to be

on. So please everyone vote on the poll so we can get the chat to

going. Until Everything eases up, I have asked Jamez to keep a eye on

the board and welcome all the new members to ADI. He has so

grauiously accepted. I will try and post every chance I get. Again, I

would like to take you for all your kind words .
