Hi Rita, nice to hear from you. ;-) Glad the test came back so good. It is

hard to stay on top of so many things at a time, isn't it? Glad your dietary

control is good, that does make it easier in the long run. I am soon to be

58, live in California, have 6 kids, 7th grandchild due in 4 months. Have 1

doggie, " Bear " (newfie) and 1 kitty, Patches. I collect cookie jars, Lenox

collection, dinnerware and china sets. The cookie jars take up a lot of

room, I have over 700 displayed. Have had 45 foster children through the years,

adopted a few ;-) I guess that is about it:-) jump right in and make your

Good morning..

Well after a week or so lurking...pluss 3 days in the Hsopital..l thought l

better untroduse myself...

My name is Rita..l am 59..live in Missouri ...l am type 2...on Insulin..Humolog

and lantus...

l test before meals..morning and nite..

l have had a tripple Aorthis bypass in 98..and another bypass open heart in

Jan...2000..

l have GERD...stomac ulcers ...

also have Spinal stenosis ...very painfull..

Today it is in the 60's..(+18c) here in Missouri and sunny...

Thanks for warm welcome...

l am going to be a Garndma too..the first week in December...l have 2 grown

kids.. 1 gat married just a few months ago...our son.... my daughter getting

married July 31...Pluss she also finished College this spring..

Right now my biggest pet piv is that l am in alot of pain...my back is given

me the fits..getting on new pain meds today..

l have Spinal Stenosis too....and when l am in loads of pain..it sends my

blood sugar up too..

So when l get my new meds later...l am looking foward to an good nites sleep

in weeks..

l am sitting here with my first cup of coffe of the morning.. Bloodsugar

130..(7.2)..and answering all my e-mails..

Today at home in my country...Norway it is Independence day...17 May...like

our 4th July here in the US..

Sorry you are having so much pain, it is a bad thing, I know well because of

Don's broken back. What new med are you hoping for? Hope it works well.

Well l slept like l have not in weeks.... l take Tylanol #4... and also gat

Oxycountin for real bad pain...l do not take them at the same time...LOL and

also skelaktin..(muslerelaxer) and also zanax.. .. l took 1 T..#4 and

Skelaktin last nite...slept like a baby ....aaaahhh that felt so good...

even my sugar is at 98 (5.3)this morning..

Fell like ready to realy start the day...now...

what a difference this makes....LOL

Mood so much different too...
