> Hi , may I compliment you on your attitude? :-) I love to see people

being proactive about life, diabetes and emergencies! I live in earthquake

country, lol the San Francisco bay area. I always keep a soft sided suitcase

stocked with a full prescription for 30 days of each of our medications. I know

it doesn't sound like much, but Don is on 26 different meds beyond his PRN

(when needed) meds. I have a 120 quart cooler packed for first aid needs. I

keep a full 2 - 3 week stock of canned things and dried peas and beans and

pasta. I rotate them, to be sure of quality. I am not a fanatic or a worry

wart,

but I have a large family and when we had the 7.0 Loma Prieta quake, my whole

family ended up here and I ended up feeding the neighborhood dinner that

night! I do not make little of that quake, one of our friends house snapped in

two. We lost 10 thousand worth of antique glassware and antiques that went over

and smashed, but our house didn't even have a crack in it. So, you can see

why I appreciate someone who puts two hands into the situation and is

prepared for whatever. Hugs, Marilyn
