Using the following recipe, with a few changes, makes a good snack to enjoy

occasionally. The changes will substantially lower the values. Hugs, Marilyn

> Cinnamon Sugar Snackers

> 2/3 cup sugar (splenda)

> 1 tbsp cinnamon

> 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted (I can't believe it is not butter

> spray)

> 1 (12 oz) can Pillsbury Golden Layers Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits

> (reduced fat)

Note, this also works with flour tortillas cut into strips.

>

> Heat oven to 400 deg F. Lightlyspray cookie sheets.

> In small shallow bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well.

> Separate dough in 10 biscuits. Separate each biscuit into 3 to

> 4 layers. Dip each layer in melted margarine; coat both sides

> with cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie

> sheets.

>

> Bake at 400 deg F. for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.

> Serve warm.

>

> Makes 30 to 40 snack chips (Serving Size 1 chip)

>

> Calories 80, Fat 4g, Chol 0mg, Sodium 140mg, Carbs 9g, Fiber 0g, Protein 1g

> Exchange: 1/2 Starch, 1/2 Fat OR 1/2 Carbohydrate, 1/2 Fat
