I have checked with my dr's and they have agreed with me. So, for me, the answer is to go lightly with all food groups, no specific restrictions. I just have to do all things in moderation. So far I have lost from 207 to 187 and a half, and am not starving either, just controlling size of my portions and eating a healthy for anyone diet. My blood sugars have really come down. Moderation is the key. >

I always say, we each have dietary restrictions. I know with mine, I can allow some of each group and thus I do not feel deprived which is what causes people to jump off the band wagon in the first place, right!
