Here's a weird question for y'all

Sorry about the cross post....

My little Riley (4.5 months) has begun a very weird habit--she's sucking on

her lower lip. She pulls in her lip and just sucks away (she looks very cute

while doing this BTW)...Now she has a bruise on her lip from all the

sucking--it looks like she has a fat lip! I'm afraid to go out in public

with her for fear someone will think the worst........has anybody else's

little bub started this bizarre habit? It didn't interfer with her nursing

this AM, but it's gotta hurt! Any ideas on treatment? Ice? She sucks on

everything (and chews), so I don't think she is dong this for lack of

anything else to suck on......

For the born in August list: Riley has also taken to 'scooting' on her

back...she lays on her back, lifts her butt up and pushes with her legs--she

can travel about 3 or 4 feet this way before she gets tired of it. She's

getting a bald spot on the back of her head due to this LOL. Have you guys

seen this with your little ones? it's really bizzare....
