I have to tell you -- you are a better person than I. If my husband said

that to me, I would say yeah well I stayed with you when you were ignorant

and ugly (where I come from this is an internal thing-personality, being

mean, etc.) and then walked out the door slamming it in his face and never

looking back.

Overweight people are just as worthy of love and quite capable of being

incredibly beautiful inside and out (and I bet you are both!!!) :-) and the

people who do not realize that are just missing out.

The thing that bugs me a LOT just happened...

DH spoke to London to his (long serving and long suffering!)

secretary and was all sugary sweet, kind and concerned that her

workload while he was away shouldn't be too much.

Off the phone he went back to being Old Groucho.

GRRR.

Yeshaya has 2 friends from London sleeping over in our house here, it

reminds me so much of and , (Yeshaya being of

course) I almost expect one of them to say " Hello Mrs. ,

how are you Mrs. ? " in that sickly sweet falsetto, whilst

verbally stabbing me in the back when I leave the room.

His GCSE results come out this week; I don't expect him to get the 5

C's he needs to get into the other school for 6th form. Miracles

have happened I suppose, not that I think he deserves a miracle, the

amount of work he's done.

Sorry for sounding grouchy myself, I guess I just feel a bit used by

everyone on this " holiday. "

takes the lighbulb out of its proper place and throws it on the floor

for him to pick up again or pours the oil out for the hell of it and

he doesn't have to change the tyre over and over and over again

without anyone even noticing ))

Having a bad day today with bloomin kids and their untidy/devilish

ways! Roll on 6th September!

, it's called The Crap Shifting Treadmill and it only comes

inexpilcably in female sizes, I'm quite small but my treadmill is still

huge:))

I can!! ( - not to mention last time I fixed the PC, wired up our

underfloor heating, and assembled our flat packed book shelves! )

(Oh well perhaps not the cut the grass part - though I did assemble

the lawn mower for him so he could do it...!!)

erm.. lightbulbs in general house hold sorts under me appart from 2 where due to

dodgy wiring you need 2 people to do it (so dh does the changing whilst I check

that the fuses don't blow)...

changed a tyre and filled the oil... erm is that not what garages are for???

neither dh nor I do that sort of thing ;o)...

cut the grass normally something dh does but I do occasionally do it if I feel

like it. It is a rather pleasant job I think ;o)..

Honestly Karina we are doppelgangers!!!!(or our DH's are)

Although I have mown the lawn recently! and DH is a gardener for a

living! If I let DH drill a hole in the wall to put up a shelf, you

can guarantee that five minutes later I will be doing it again after

his shelf has fallen down! :-)) He has even given up trying now and

he just hands me the drill!

Put him near a computer and he would have a breakdown. But like all

the rest he does have some good qualities, somewhere, I think!

I got a cordless screwdriver for my birthday a couple of years ago -

brilliant thing, makes flat pack furniture almost fun to put together - I

suggested it to DH after I put tog DS2's bunk bed + under machrie

desk and 'arm chair' together with a standard screwdriver and allen key!

When it comes to drilling holes in wall though he makes a neater job than I

do!

And he can definately cut hedges straighter and neater than I can!!! Anyone

passing our house will be able to tell that he went to Taiwan and left the

hedge so long the gate wouldn't open far enough to get the car open - after

a week I decided it was better to hack at the hedge than risk needing a

paint job done on the car.

DH has a metal toolbox which he keeps on his office floor for

some reason - a fact i always forget because i stub my toes on it

all the time!!!

But at least all the main household tools are always in there.

Me too ... but funny enough every time I go to get something out of it it

has often made it's way over to Gethyn's toolbox - hummmppphhh - does cause

I just thought I'd share about my husband.....He is totally supportive of

anything that makes me feel better. We started dating a year before I started

having problems and after we were married I started having more and more

problems. Going from very healthy to not even being to stand up, in about a

month I think helped him understand. He went to all of my doctors visits in the

beginning because I couldn't even drive. He is very understanding, well, as

understanding as one can get without having fibro and he helps out a lot around

the home front along with the kids.
