Guest guest
My husband eats noodles and tomato soup every day, so he's easy to fix for. The only meat he likes is ground beef in hot dishes or fried chicken thighs & legs. He won't touch the kind of things I like the most: steak, stir-fry, Chinese & Mexican & pizza. The kids usually munch on stuff all day & aren't hungry for dinner. Guest guest
I don't know how much cauliflower costs here in northern California, cuz my husband does the shopping! He wants to lose some weight too, but refuses to join me on this WOE - he says the only way to lose weight is to eat less but then he doesn't of course. I think he's going to gain weight while I'm eating this way because he eats the things I make that are fairly high fat and then he adds bread or potatoes or cookies, etc., as well. I don't make special meals for him, but once in a while I'll cook something special for him and it makes him feel really loved. We each do our own laundry - children have moved away from home now, but he did the family laundry for years, while I did my own because I don't trust him with my things - he won't trust me to do his laundry either. Now he does his own plus the towels, sheets, etc., and I do mine. Zoe Santa Cruz >I don't make special meals for my husband either. He eats what I >make or does not eat at all! Guest guest
Hey guys! I'd sometimes trade my husband to you for two cents! LOL! I married this guy 39 years ago and he has yet to drop a sock on the floor. His shirts hang one way when HE takes them out of the washer and hang in a different section when he wears them once. He cooks, cleans, irons, washes and is so darned picky about everything that when I'm REALLY mad at him I just leave a dish (unrinsed) in the sink and it sends him up the wall!!! He wants to join me on this diet but insists that he has to have oatmeal and toast, bread with every meal, potatoes, etc! I've explained until I'm out of patience so I just told him OK have what you want and I make low carb food so at least he's cutting down. Probably has only 200 carbs a day now! LOL! This Italian guy likes his bread and pasta! Has anyone seen success with just cutting down and not out?? Waldean husbands I don't make special meals for my husband either. He eats what I make or does not eat at all! Since he hates to cook. he will eat or pick at what I put on the table. I tried to get him to join me on the woe but he won't. He needs to loss 35 pounds and has high blood pressure. Says I am not eating healthy. I tell him that I am eating healthy and the way you eat is going to kill you. He had to go to the doctor on Sat. for his blood pressure and he asked the doctor what he thought of this woe. Doctor said it a good diet to be on and very heathy. He still will not join me!!! Mollie you are lucky that your husband will do the laundry. I have been married 21 years and he still asks me how to turn on the washing machine. Guest guest
My Hubby does all the laundry and most of the time does the dishes. I guess I am spoiled but my job is much harder physically than his and therefore he has more energy in the evening. It takes all my energy to cook supper,, one thing he can't do is cook(hehehe) . He is a real sweetheart. I guess he just started doing the laundry when my knee started bothering me and I couldn't carry the clothes up and down the steps. He figures while he is down there he might as well throw a load of clothes in. I do try to keep up with all of it on my days off, though. Seems like all I do on my days off is go to grocery store, cook and clean. Cathy
Guest guest
Hey Mollie, That's why we have kids! We need someone to put the blame on! Or you can follow Phyllis Diller's advice. When someone rings her bell and the house is a mess and she's lying on the chenille bedspread so long she has marks on her face, she runs to the door and asks if they saw the guys run out.! Some guys hit her in the face with something and ransacked the house looking for money!!!
