Here is the update...He is on dialysis and will continue to be on that 24hours a day for several days. He did urinate twice yesterday, which is very good when you are looking at kidney function!!! That was a success. The doctors are saying that he is going to recover from this, but they will have to deal with all the "bumps in the road" on the way. Todays "bump" is that he now has blood in his stool, which means somewhere in his gut there is some bleeding. His blood pressure has also dropped. This is not good, since his platelets (sp) have dropped so low (leaving little clotting ability). He continues to be in ICU and his condition is still very much in need of all your prayers!
