Guest guest Posted November 11, 2000 Report Share Posted November 11, 2000 Well, as of today this overly fertile mommy is fertile no more! I had my tubal ligation done at 12:30 today. It wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. I was completely knocked out. While out, they did the stuck a tube down my throat, pumped me full of air and cut my tubes. When I woke up I had a sore throat(from the tube) and my shoulders and chest hurt from the air they pumped into me. My incision at my belly button didn't start hurting until tonight. When they tell you to rest they really mean it. I should have stayed in bed from the time I got home but I didn't. And now my incision hurts. So tomorrow I am resting and that is it. But it's done and I am relieved. I can finally stop worrying about getting pregnant every time Jerod gets near me...LOL! But seriously, it is a HUGE relief for me. I had no second thoughts going into it and I do not regret it at all. My family is complete and I am so happy.
