I pretty much agree. The original book is my " bible. " It worked for me, so I believe in it. The marketing crap came along later on. I DO NOT have faith in those products. At that point it became " all about the money. " Sad, but true. Money has a strange way of distorting things. I do not purchase the " South Beach packaged products " for this reason. I feel that these pre-packaged foods are simply the lazy persons way of doing SBD, then complaining that SBD doesn't work. I say, cook real food. It's not that difficult.
