Hi Jodi,

A lot of people are bouncing right now. Almost 80% of them have

hotmail addresses. Why it is happening, I do not know. All I can

do is send a reactivation request and hope for a response.

Otherwise, I am in the dark and also frustrated at the large

number of bouncing e-mail addresses.

As of this moment, your account is fine. I don't know about 10

minutes from now.

So I should be eating more than my mid range of 25(pretty much what I consume everyday haven't really banked) I am in the 22-27 range so I eat 25 a day. I am doing this at home with a slider from a friend and food list.......maybe I am doing somethinh wrong?

Thanks

I had this very same problem and it was because I wasn't eating enough so my body went in to starvation mode ..if you exercise and gain activity points you have to eat more..dont forget WW says you can only bank 10 pts a week.. once I was enlightened to this and ate more my weight loss picked up again.. mix up your points daily so that you dont bank any more then 10 points in a weeks time.. DONT GIVE UP! Isnt it crazy that someone would tell you to eat more when you are dieting? but it really works

Wow talk about not grasping!! I had thought if your mid range was 25 then you would totally go by that.....meaning you would only bank if you were under 25......but you are saying if I am eating 25 I would bank the points not used up to the 27? I haven't done it that way at all OOPS!!! Am I understanding what you are saying?

Thanks!!

Yes.. think about it.. if you eat your midrange every day and your range is 22-27.. then in a 7 day period you are banking 14 points.. you can only bank 10.. and if you gain activity points on top of that you are banking even more.. for a while you will lose but then your body catches up and you plateau then gain.. am I making sense? this was such a hard concept for me to grasp too

I guess I was really confused!! I did not know that if you were eating mid

range points for instance my 25 a day.........that you would bank going with

the high of 27. Do you get what I am saying? I didn't think I was banking any

points unless I went under my 25....not 27. So if I am getting this now,I have

had extra points all along the way because I would just make sure I ate 25

everyday and thought...okay nothing banked. I understood that if you ate under

25

you would bank up to 27 but didn't realize if I ate 25(my mid range) that I

could bank anything??? I feel stupid LOL!! You are right I probably am shutting

down. Wow I hope it gets fixed fast LOL!! Thanks for the clarification.

I understand that if you exercise and earn activity points you need to eat enough so that with the points you earn you are still at your minimum, but then how does the banking work? I definitely need to ask my leader next week, but it just confuses me since one day i went over a point but i had earned 4 activity points for that day. Thanks for your help =)

Basically eat all the activity points that you earn.. try not to bank them.. your body needs more food when you exercise..so figure out your AP points and eat them

For 22-27 point range try mixing them up like this

Day 1 eat 25 points (bank 2)

Day 2 eat 27 points (bank 0)

Day 3 eat 27 points (bank 0)

Day 4 eat 24 points (bank 3) total of 5 points banked

Day 5 eat 29 points (bank 0 and take 2 from your bank with 3 points banked left)

Day 6 eat 24 points (bank 3) back to a total of 5 points banked

Day 7 eat 22 points (bank 5) total of 10 points banked for the week and tomorrow you start all over

Does that give you a better picture? See, if you bank more then 10 points per week your body goes into starvation.. and if you are gaining activity points and not eating them you are adding even more banked points without eating them.. you have to eat.. isnt that wonderful? :) I was stuck .. no matter what I did the scale wouln't move.. I am so glad it is working for you. It really took me a long time to get it in my head that I had to eat more. It was so hard for me to believe that I needed to eat more to loose weight! LOL

Don't give up.

I would not drop my point....your body may be going into " save "

mode....Try varying your points a little. Eat at the top of your

range one day, lower end the next, middle etc...

Also, what are you eating for your points? Carbs, protein, veges?

Also, you may be building some muscle that wasn't there before...and

unfortuneatly...it weighs more....but you'll be smaller..make sense?

Don't know if that will help....

Good Luck!!

By the way, there are reasons NOT to weigh yourself daily.

You've just encountered one of them. Seriously, you're

exercising, so your body is building muscle, possibly

retaining water, possibly simply that you have more food in

your digestive tract.

Don't give up because of a day-to-day weight gain. It means

nothing. And if you weigh each week, the change is more

noticeable. It also means that you'll probably see a loss

even if you're building muscle, retaining water, more undigested

food, etc.

, having run an Atkins list for a few years I have seen MANY women who feel the same way you do. You are not crazy. What most of them said, is they felt invisible when they were bigger and the thought of bringing attention to themselves was very scary. I wish I could remember all the talk about it, but hopefully somebody here will be able to help you out.

I have the same problem. I am confortable at my weight and as I loose I am getting out of my comfort zone. Take it one day at a time andd know that you are loosing because you want to loose and it is going to be ok. You need to make a list of rewards for yourself that have nothing to do with food. You are not crazy. You are being more honest then many people. Take it five pounds at a time and this will help. Focuse on what you can do now that you could not do before. I have a lot more energy than before. I did a self inventory of what I need to work on. Each new habit takes twenty-one days before it is a healthy habit.

Write when ever you need support.

Frustrated

I am sure that everyone has felt this at one point or time in this journey that we are all on. But I am too the point of just wanting to give up. But then I cannot imagine living without weight watchers as a part of my life. I have been a member since May 15th and I have lost around 20 pounds. But in the last month I have gained and gained. A total of 5 pounds I believe now. Most of it is my fault. I was off program several times but then I went a whole week back on plan and I STILL gained. I was so proud that I had stayed on program and was hoping to be rewarded with the scale. I have come to realize that my weight is ALL emotional. Getting under 200 for me was SO hard. I felt like I was letting down a huge wall of safety that I had built for myself. I think that I am still dealing with that as I am bouncing around in the 190's. I am truly SCARED of being thin. Has anyone else felt like this? How did you get through it? I have tried talking to 2 of me leaders about this issue and they look at me like I am crazy! Unfortunatly I do not feel as though they give a whole lot of support. So that is why I am coming to ya'll to see if there is any inspiration that any of ya'll can give to me. Thank you in advance :-)

That really does suck. I know I have had 2 MC's and I am a worry wart. I

always need reassuring that things are okay. I cannot believe your hospital did

not have the equipment to check you properly. I think though as long as you are

not cramping or bleeding that the baby is okay but i know how it is to worry.

hopefully your 2 weeks will go by fast and then you will hear the heartbeat.

Lori,

I have vesal vagal (dont know how it is spelled either) reactions. You might

be starting to get dehydrated. When I was a bit dehydrated I had them but I

also have them when I give blood (even a finger prick) and am sitting up.

Another time I vagal-ed was when I was lying on a gurney awaiting my tummy

tuck. Try to get more fluids in you and if you have to give blood for a test

lay down while giving it -- even a finger prick. It doesn't have anything to

do with pregnancy or surgery -- just something that happens to some of us.

Good luck

Sorry about your experience, I can only imagine how frustrating that

is. I just wanted to let you know that I am only 9 weeks, but so far

I have had 2 ultrasounds, both vaginally. The first one was at 5

weeks and the second at 8 weeks. I dont understand why they are

telling you that you are not far enough along, unless they dont have

the capability to do the vaginal ultrasound??? I hope the next 2

weeks fly by for you and you get to see your baby soon. It sounds

like everything is fine, but I know how easy it is to worry. Hang in

there! :)
