Guest guest
I have a 10 month old son who seems to have many of the same signs that my older ASD son did at his age (food sensitivities, extremely fussy). I also did a hair test on him and he came back with very high antimony (unfortunately, my DAN! ordered the Hair toxic element exposure profile instead of the one that shows the essential elements as well- I understand that this probably would have been more helpful). My question, I started giving him a very small amount (15-20 mg) of zinc. I started because he was grinding his teeth all the time (he only has four teeth, but the grinding was almost constant). Since I started 5 days ago, no more grinding. The other thing that has happened is that he has started crawling normally. He had been dragging his body around (pulling with the arms), but then would quickly tire of that and would cry. Does anyone have any other anecdotal stories of that with their children? This is the first thing that has actually peaked my husband's interest in the biomed approach. Do you think the new found crawling could be related to the zinc, or mere coincidence? -Sue
