My back xray says pretty much the same! Weird, huh?

Dear ,

I had my back x-rayed in August and the report reads:

" There is minimal disc space narrowing at L4-L5. There is mild

degenerative lipping at L3-L4. The remainder of the disc spaces and

the vertebral bodies appear intact. No fractures noted. "

Is mild degeneration normal or unusual? It seams many of us share

similar symptoms. How strongly do you think it is linked to mercury.

My back pain has been much better since amalgam removal, some

chelation and supplementation (including Mg, Vit C and seven amino

acids). Is mild degeneration reversible?

Thanks so much for your contribution to this forum.

That is encouraging that your symptoms have improved with chelation. Jeanie

All the more reason to start chelating again. Really like the 3 on 11-18

day off thing. That I can do. Gonna pick back up on the detoxing and then

go for it again. Think I'm gonna do the Dr. Shulze colon detox as well as

some overall and get these drugs cleared out first. Man have I been taking

a lot. I think I'm pulling out of this back thing. Starting to. Jeanie

It depends on your age whether this is good or bad. How old are you?

It is common, but I don't think it is normal.

mercury.

I'm trying not to suspect it everywhere, but hard to avoid since my

own struggles with it (mercury, not back pain). Back pain was never a

big component of my own health history, but I have been getting

really regular adjustments since I was 21.

I continually see many, many patients with candidiasis. This is what

makes me suspect mercury more than just back pain. Back pain is just

really common, mostly because people don't maintain their spines and

they wait until something gets really bad before they see a

chiropractor. Can you imagine having tooth pain and saying, well,

I'll wait until it's really bad before I do anything about it? I

suppose people do that too sometimes. It just seems like the rule

rather than the exception with chiropractic though. People are also

unnecessarily afraid of the chiropractor. Getting adjustments is

actually safer than taking aspirin.

The back pain patients who make me suspect mercury are those who

can't hold an adjustment, who never seem to get completely better

(most people do get completely better from adjustments), and those

who have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue with back pain as just one

of their many symptoms. ...also those who appear to have several

disc levels degenerating, like 3 or 4. I also suspect those who need

lots and lots of magnesium to keep from having their backs " go out "

on them. If you just need 400mg a day to prevent this, you aren't in

this category.

Since the above people are the ones who keep hanging around our

office, it's hard not to see mercury everywhere.

When someone's back does " go out " on them for no good reason, a lack

of magnesium is almost always involved. A good reason would be

lifting something too heavy, getting in a car accident, falling or

almost catching yourself from falling, or spending a lot of time

standing while bent at the waist to do something, or repeatedly

bending at the waist while standing.

Sleeping on your stomach is a big bad thing to do too. You can all

stop that right now!

The types of changes you mention on your x-rays are not reversible.

Symptoms are almost always reversible. I've seen people with the

most horrific looking x-rays become assymptomatic in no time. It is

so regular that I expect it. Strange, huh?

Gratitude is nice, and one of those emotions (along with love and

faith) that will combat pain from lots of origins. It is good to

find as many things to be grateful for as possible, even those things

that seem bad, and although much more difficult, even those things

that seem tragic.

Happy Birthday ! I turn 37 in March. Seems this mercury thing is

hitting a LOT of people hardest in their mid-thirties, doesn't it?

Strange....
