Mine was positive about it, but I had been the one to initiate what I wanted to do about my situation. Most gynos will tell you to get a hysto, and only a myo if you want to have kids. I researched the UFE and found the " embo group " . The group was my support system. I found a fantastic and highyly recommended IR through the group also. The whole experience has been so positive and I'm glad I still have my parts. I had a 10 cm fibroid, with hemmoraging, gushing periods and breakthrough bleeding. It was awful and uncontrolable. I am 5 months post and doing great. My periods are so light and managable, I hardly know there there!!!!!!! You have to research whats right for you. I didn't want major abdominal surgery, only to have it grow back again!!!!!! Hysto was out of the question. Most gyno's don't do their research and will not recoemmend the procedure. Us embo ladies have done the homework ourselves and it is not experimental as all the gyno's say!! They preach what they know and what they'll make $$$ on.
