Hi all... another newbie...

My name is Carol; I am 33 married mother of one 10yr son. I have

been having increased pain and flow for the last 9 months. I put off

seeing my Dr. until my yearly exam. My family Dr. after talking with

me decided to send me to a Gyn to get exam done. I went in had a

pap...was told to come back 2 days later for a vaginal ultrasound.

My pain had only occurred during my period until after the

ultrasound. Then each day it got worse...I ended up in the ER on a

Sat night. I got lucky I guess it was my family Dr. at the Hospital

that night. He did another pap took blood and a urine sample. Ended

up saying all he could do was make me comfortable until the Gyn could

see me on Tuesday. On Tuesday I had a biopsy done. I will find out

results on 3/16/04. If the tests come back that I have Cancer too

then I have to have a hysterectomy ASAP if not then Dr is planning to

do it after 4/4/04 so I wont lose my job (not eligible for medical

leave until after 4/4/04) I just don't know if I can wait that

long ...if I take the meds that take away the pain then I cant

drive...go to work ect. Each day the pain is worse...

(Mine is the only income right now...my mother and aunt had cancer,

breast and ovaries)
